New York City
Black Out 2003

I spent the entire night photographing the alien landscape in Manhattan.

Around 8 am the next morning, I went into the lobby of a hotel, tipped the concierge to let me use his desk phone and called numerous magazines and newspapers.
About half an hour later, TIME magazine called me up to their office.
They selected and published my photograph on the right side.
I was paid relatively well for a very long night of truly unique adventure.

For astronomy fans, that's the gibbous moon and Mars, behind the dark Empire State buliding.
